MLS low-voltage switchgear assembles is a factory-built-modular low voltage switchgear made of standardized modules for use in power supply/distribution systems with AC 50/60HZ, rated voltage ≤690V and rated current ≤ 6300A to serve such functions as power distribution, conversion, controlling and reactive power compensation.

MLS cabinet body is made of 2mm thick Al-Zn coated steel sheet. Various subsections and functional units are assembled with grade assembled with grade 8.8 self-tapping screws using E=25mm modulus holes. The framework and enclosure has adequate strength and rigidity and capable of withstanding certain mechanical stress, electrical stress and thermal stress and can withstand the dampness during the normal service. The door panels are made of 1.5mm thick quality steel sheet and hinges have an opening angle of at least 120°. The door surface is sprayed a coat of epoxy powder. IP rating can be IP30, IP40, IP31, IP41, IP42, IP55.

The main busbar can be a three phase four wire system or five wire system and fixed to a subsection by insulation support. Dual bar structure is used for rated current of 4000A or above system. The vertical busbar in MCC can have a rated current up to 1600A and be equipped with 3 -pole and 4 -pole systems. Internal safety barriers separate the busbar compartment from the equipment compartment to prevent operators from coming into contact with dangerous live parts. The compartment can be up to Form 4b. Protective conductor (PE) lines along the full length of the cabinet and vertical branch and earthing mark are also provided.


  • Safety and Reliability. The compartments inside the cubicle can be divided into horizontal busbar compartment, vertical busbar compartment, functional unit compartment, and external terminal compartment. The extensive compartmentalization increases the safety, reliability, and serviceability by preventing unexpected shock. It is suitable for urban power grids, commercial buildings, hospitals and universities among other applications.
  • Customization and Scalability. Depending on the structure of their functional units, MCC cubicle scan be withdrawable type, plug-in type or fixed type. Fixed units can equip with 3-pole or 4-pole molded breakers with current of 160A-2000A. The height of standard modules varies from 8E/2 to 72E. Plug-in units can be used as feeders or motor control units with current of 160A~800A and standard modules of 8E/2 to 36E.Withdrawable units are of modular design and consist of standard modules ranging from 8E/4 to 24E and suitable for feeders and motor control units.
  • They are easy to use, replace, and maintain. The working state of the control unit is clearly displayed on position indicator area on the panel. liable mechanical interlocking is used for preventing maloperation.
  • Suitability for simple indoor installation and convenient maintenance. Unlike ordinary busbar connections, AEG utilizes a unique hole-less lapping technology for busbar connections, which facilitates on-site installation and maintenance.
